Private luxury mobile camps

This is camping in style! These camps are designed to give you the full flavour of traditional Africa without losing any comfort. The tents are set up by an experienced crew of staff in a remote site prior to your arrival. Most of the crew have worked for Onsafari for many years, and as the elders have retired, so their sons and nephews have taken their places.

The sleeping tents are large canvas affairs, well ventilated by large insect proof windows, fully furnished with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding, tables, chairs, and electric lighting. Each tent has en-suite facilities with flush toilets and hot showers.

The dining (or mess) tent is the central gathering part of the camp again fully furnished with dining area and lounge area. The food is prepared by an excellent chef of many years experience. The produce is all fresh, bread is baked every day, and there are a variety of dishes served from fresh salads and fruit to gourmet meals with delicate pastries to full roasts. There is an unlimited supply of bottled drinking water, soft drinks and full bar service. There is refrigeration in camp and plenty of ice for the drinks.
